This months stamp is so cute and versatile - I used it both as a negative and positive stamp, cutting the speech bubble away to leave a frame of it and also simply cutting round the speech bubble itself.
I wanted to make an envelope to emulate love letters and use the seal to insinuate they were trapped in the envelope for no-one else to see - this is where the speech bubble was used. An envelope is really easy to make, especially if you have a practise first on some scrap paper!
Continuing the layered strips theme, I sliced some more strips to cite next to the mini envelope.
To balance, a further few were arranged in the top left hand corner, along with the negative area of the stamp. The photo, featuring a lot of sky in conjunction with the @ symbol found on the lovely hybrids completely inspired my title, which is our funny email address - we do get people giggling when we read it out!
